Michael T. Tom, DDS PC
Dr. Michael (Mick) Tom was born and raised in Fort Wayne. Upon graduation from Northrop High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force serving as an active duty Dental Assistant for six years. This led to his love for dentistry and motivation to complete his undergraduate studies in Biology. Dr. Tom graduated from Indiana University Dental School in 1998, where he was the recipient of the Excellence in Operatory Performance and first in his class for Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Tom is certified in Oral Conscious Sedation and Advanced Cardio Life Support.
Dr. Tom returned back to his hometown becoming a solo practitioner, where he could focus on building personal relationships with his patients and provide them with the highest quality of care. While his approach to dentistry is conservative, Dr. Tom is committed to staying current with continuing education and exploring new and evidence-based materials and procedures that will benefit his patients.
Dr. Tom and his wife Ellen have been married for over 30 years and are blessed with two adult children, Lauren and Ryan. They love to travel as a family and cheer on their alma maters, Indiana University and Purdue University. Dr. Tom is also an avid golfer and enjoys time with extended family and friends.
